General Ledger & Fixed Assets Team Lead

We're looking for a General Ledger & Fixed Assets Team Leader who is ready to take the lead of our dynamic finance team and drive excellence and innovation in Holcim EBS. Your responsibilities will include:
• People management : providing guidance, coaching, and supporting to ensure everyone reaches their full potential
• Managing with precision: from workload management to performance tracking, you'll oversee it all, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a culture of excellence
• Maintaining strong partnerships: strengthening relationships with our business partners, ensuring our processes align and deliver outstanding service.
• Staying ahead of average by implementing best practices, improvement ideas, AI solutions, and staying compliant with standards.
• Managing all GL and FA processes to be consistent with internal accounting & reporting principles
• Ensuring established processes, policies, and procedures are followed by all team members as well as identify and communicate to leadership when KPIs and SLAs are not followed by the business lines
• Working with other teams leaders to plan and allocate team resources and to resolve technical problems
• Monitoring and executing internal control procedures to comply with internal/external audit requirements.

• Education in Business, Finance, or Accounting and proven record of accounting experience
• Proven record of experience in a field
• English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• Knowledge of accounting standards IFRS and double-entry bookkeeping
• Expert knowledge of Excel, advanced knowledge of SAP
• Leadership experience or motivation to develop into an inspiring leader
• Strong team player mindset with the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Well structured, organized & detail oriented
• Ability to plan ahead, assign and direct work between team members
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
