Job description, responsibilities and duties
HOLCIM BUSINESS SERVICES IS GROWING
The new international service centre is looking for “Employee Services Specialist”. These roles will be responsible for answering HR-related questions through email and phone calls and providing guidance/first line user support for the HR systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Answer HR-related questions through email and phone calls and liase with colleagues from other teams to ensure high-quality and timely response to employee queries.
- Provide first line user support for HR Systems such as Performance Management System and Learning Management System
- Administer training courses, schedules, and participant registrations in Learning Management System based on requests from Operating companies.
- Ensure that the work is carried out according to the routines for processing questions and in compliance with SLAs, as well as legal and internal requirements.
- Register and store information in the knowledge database thus ensuring sufficient knowledge in all working areas.
- Contribute to operational improvement initiatives within the Employee Service function.

- Communication skills in English
- Advanced knowledge of German or Italian. Other language skills are very welcome
- Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
- Good ability to cooperate
- Strong problem solving skills
- Process improvement skills
- Experience in service desk/ customer support environment
- Experience from shared service center environment is an advantage
- Communication skills and customer orientation
- Flexibility and passion for solving problems
- PC literate and have an interest for learning new programs/systems
- Communication skills in English
- Advanced knowledge of German or Italian. Other language skills are very welcome
