Job Description

  • Development of ITP for newly introduced equipment and systems
  • Manages the project-specific quality control plan (QCP)
  • Plans, monitors and leads quality inspections together with expediting at suppliers’ premises
  • Correctness and Completeness Check of Quality Documentation
  • Instructs inspectors regarding supplier monitoring activities
  • Issues instructions to suppliers in the event of deviations from standard in agreement with engineering
  • Resolves or escalates all expediting & quality issues
  • Responsible for RCA at suppliers, proficient with A3/8D/DMAIC approach and leading RCA activities
  • Create KPIs for suppliers and inspectors
  • Qualification of newly introduced suppliers (Specially BCC suppliers) from quality perspective
  • Keeps up to date with the relevant legal regulations and technical standards
  • Supports project team members
  • Drives effectiveness and efficiency of operational tasks
  • Participates in developing & improving related procedures & process improvements
  • Supports the department in achieving objectives
  • All other duties as reasonably requested


Qualifications

  • Very good understanding of QC processes applicable to supply markets
  • Experience in ASME and PED, knowledge of welding CSWIP (is preferred ITW/IWE/EWE)
  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques owning recognised training certificates (EN ISO 9712, level II or ASNT Lev.2)
  • Knowledge of FMEA and AQL sampling an added advantage
  • Experience dealing with ATEX compliant systems and equipment
  • Cross cultural experience, specially dealing with BCC suppliers
  • Very good understanding of expediting processes & Logistics Processes applicable to supply markets
  • Be familiar and good interpretation of Technical Drawings
  • Able to manage few projects at same time
  • Knowledge of requirements of ISO9001
  • Experience in international plant projects
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel incl. Pivot, Powerpoint)
