EG Global Supply Chain Overview
The Enterprise Group (EG) supply Chain organization, as part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HPE owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HPE Converged Infrastructure.

This opening is within the EMEA GOP Demand Planning Team. The planner for this position will be aligned to support a geographic region, a specific product set or a group of features.

The responsibilities of the role will include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Manages the sales forecast process on weekly basis and updates executive staff of key risks.
• Drive alignment between product/feature availability and product/demand generation plans.
• Efficiently and accurately plan for product requirements considering revenue objectives, demand and cost objectives through all phases of a product or feature lifecycle.
• Work with countries and GBU on increasing long term forecast quality and supply feedback.
• Ensure alignment of forecast and roadmap.
• Drive planning for product and feature transitions to minimize excess while ensuring a quality ramp.
• Ensure accurate and quality forecast signals are flowing into the supply base.
• Work with extended regional team to identify and execute the allocation of constrained supply.
• Work jointly with country category / marketing to provide clear demand steering opportunities.
• Work jointly with commodity planning teams within region and globally as well as marketing to effectively mitigate obsolescence and other inventory driven costs.
• Provide performance to plan metrics to the GBU and marketing to drive steering opportunities, proactively taking advantage of trends.
• Work as a subject matter expert with program and project leads to develop new tools, metrics capabilities and processes to improve the analysis and reporting of key business measures and drive better business performance.

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education and Experience Required
• First level university degree in Business Administration/Management or other related field or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred (e.g. MBA).
• Typically 4 - 6 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
• Experience in more than one supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills Required
• Excellent analytical skills to include Microsoft Excel (required), Microsoft Access and SAP.
o Includes the ability to convert large amounts of data into meaningful information.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with little guidance.
• Ability to have a positive impact on peers outside the candidate's immediate span of control.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
• Adaptability to change and support "ever changing" business requirements.
• Positive mental attitude that will enable positive management of change where needed.
• Experience desired (but not required) in supply chain process.
• Ability to effectively communicate through authentic conversation and effective listening.
