Job description, responsibilities and duties

Within ITO EMEA Global Engineering Enterprise Service Management (Outsourcing Services business), you'll be part of the Configuration Management & Data Synchronization team. The team is responsible to design, develop and deploy configuration tools and services for the outsourcing customers.

In the projects, you will:
- Define in details the requirements and data model design of the CMS and related interfaces with the customer.
- Deploy standard solutions and on board customers to them, as well as develop customized solutions around CMS area (data synchronizations, uCMDB data model configuration, views and reports)
- Coordinate the different players to deploy the solutions, within a distributed environment
- Hand over to support team: insure that a full support model is in place, for the infrastructure and application layer. Insure support teams (either local, near or off-shore) have full information and that the overall support flow is functioning.
- As such, you may need to travel to customer sites (rarely but possible).
The complexity of the solutions and projects you will be involved in will vary depending on your knowledge and experience: interface/synchronization between 2 applications, data modeling consulting, complex Configuration Management Systems deployment.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required:
· 5+ years of professional experience and a degree in Computer Science/Information systems or related;

Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Fluent English, second language would be an advantage
· Proven experience in IT infrastructure and data modeling
· Proven experience in object oriented programming languages / XML, PERL, SQL (DB Oracle queries), Java expertise
· Experience in ETL (Extract Transform Load), like Pentaho, would be an advantage
· Basic knowledge of Unix and windows
· Proven ability to work with virtual teams
· High autonomy
· Presentation skills and customer interaction capabilities
· ITIL knowledge, with a good knowledge on configuration process, would be an advantage
· Knowledge of HPE Software suite (uCMDB, HPSM, RC, HPUD) would be an advantage
