Job Description
IT Software License Compliance Administrator is responsible for calculating the client’s software license compliance status based on software license RTU, software license agreements, software maintenance agreements and software installations for the set of in scope software titles per client.

· Is familiar with the SRA asset data flow and is trained in using the SRA toolset (Product registry, AM, CRDW, Aries, LDSS, CDC/CDS)
· Is familiar with HP tools: Sandy and E-tracking
· Has good SAM process understanding
· Understands SRA software asset management key concepts:
o What is license
o What is rights to use (RTU)
o What is license contract (IPLA, EULA, ETLA)
o What is maintenance contract
o What is software installation
o Understanding various license types (per CPU, PVU, RVU, CAL, concurrent user, names user, installation, subscription, etc.)
o Has basic understanding of virtualization software (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix)

· Creates and modifies software counters for software titles per client in the appropriate repository (Asset Manager) which represents the appropriate parameters of the License Types that are in the scope of the client contract.
· Researches upgrade and downgrade parameters that impact client RTU when creating or modifying software title counters
· Provides expertise in ensuring that software license contracts and agreements, software licenses and software installations and associated linkages are reflected correctly in the IT asset repository. (understands restrictions of the SRA solution and is able to propose work-around in order to accommodate any specific vendor licensing)
· Provides expertise to ensure that software license records are linked to the correct hardware device.
· Based on input from customer and HP license compliance status reviews, identifies required modifications to software counters and software license and installation records.
· Supports client SAM implementation activities
· Supports analysis of new or modified software agreement and maintenance contracts and identifies impact to software counters.

Job Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience in IT support area or SW license management
· Typically 3+ years of relevant experience
· Expertise in SW license management area, understanding of the SW contracts T&C and legal implications, experience in SW audits is advantage
· Strong knowledge related to SAP vendor SW licensing models (LMBI), experience in SAP measurement (USMM / LAW1.0 / LAW 2.0) and compliance analysis
· Good knowledge of MS tools – Excel, Access, and SharePoint
· Good English and German fluency
