Job description, responsibilities and duties

EA Business Planning Analyst leads the business department activities on Supply Chain reporting, forecasting, budgetary and financial planning.
The analyst develops, provides and uses the early forecasts of financial and budgetary to work with finance, IT and operations resources on project enhancements enabling superior decision-making.
The business planning analysts are responsible to provide non-routine analytical, complex, operational, and technical support at the business level.
Throughout their operations, they have to ensure that they drive continuous standardization and improvement in Supply Chain reporting areas.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing and maintaining early forecasts systems for the organization’s financial tracking and ensuring advance warning accurately.
• Developing work products useful to business planning and generating reports for supporting the management decision.
• Identifying, forecasting, and evaluating advances in current technology and markets.
• Collecting and analyzing data and assumptions needed for the development of business and coverage strategies.
• Developing and monitoring all network metric units for measuring key performing indicators.
• Developing, tracking, and analyzing competitive developments and performance in the industry.
• Participating in the integration and transition of new and modern business practices.
• Developing long or mid-range plans, goals, standards, and strategic plans for aligning and driving of divisional work to attain business goals.
• Developing and producing departmental worksheets and reports to include strategy analysis, some financial analysis, workflow analysis, profitability and historical reporting.
• Keeping abreast of business trends that affect the organization’s business department.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in field such as statistics, economics or business degree (Master’s degree in economics or business would be an added advantage).
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience (supply chain area).

Knowledge and Skills:
• Broad knowledge of supply chain, good understanding of supply chain processes.
• Industry experience.
• Advanced analytical and planning skills (forecasting, reporting, budgetary and financial planning).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Project Management skills.
• Fluency in English and local language (both verbal and written).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-managing.
• Willing to occasionally travel to US.
