One of the essential success factors of the services offered by cloud strategy is availability of excellent technical solutions and consulting capabilities as well as the professional delivery, support and implementation services. The main focus of team is the management and implementation of infrastructures and applications under cloud strategy for our customers.
We are looking for Security Engineer candidates for day job and evening job = US time as well.
Security Engineer focuses on the technical design, engineering, prototyping and pilot-phase of the assigned service, resp. area of expertise, as well as their ongoing maintenance.
Security works closely with the Service Architects, other Services Engineers and the respective Cloud Service delivery teams.

Key responsibilities:
• Provides technical subject matter expertise for the area(s) of focus
• Conduct Security assessments to provide risk analysis and remediation estimates. This includes design reviews, vulnerability analysis and audit findings pertaining to PCI, SAE-16 SOC2, SOC3, FedRamp, Fisma, UK Public Sector, etc...
• Tests technology components, evaluates and qualifies supplier technology based on technology roadmaps and architecture strategy
• Is able to translate architecture requirement definitions into technical service engineering deliverables including Bills of Material (with Product Groups), cost, etc.
• Creates/drives automation of operational tasks/process in his area of expertise in line with the Cloud automation strategy supported by the Automation Engineer(s)
• Supports the Architecture team in documenting technical requirements for dependent components and maintains relationships with the product engineering function that owns the dependent component to ensure it meets requirements.
• Understands base components from Building Block Groups that make up the service and any customizations required for the service (which parameters are needed for each module, are there any specific changes needed at the component level for integration into the Cloud service) and provide feedback on the Cloud requirements to Component Groups
• Provides lab level support for the deployed Cloud solutions
• L3/L4 escalation for production issues surrounding Security & Compliance functionality
• Supports Cloud service deployments into new Cloud locations
• Supports the integration of tools & process into delivery services, working closely with the Cloud delivery teams
• Supports the installation and testing of tools & process into Lab space in the development of services, working closely with the Cloud Lab delivery team
• Provides delivery trainings for new services as required
• Supports Release and Deployment engineers

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

General skills:
• Master degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required
• Has been through at least 3 industry standard audits
• At least 5 years of experience in IT environment
• Significant experience and working knowledge of the tasks necessary to keep the systems / applications in the assigned area running stable, secure and performing well
• Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills
• Ability to assimilate multiple technologies / service requirements into a complete service design
• Critical thinking and creativity in thought process as well as problem solving situations, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility, self-confidence
• Works well under high pressure, high demand environment with cross-cultural, cross-geographical collaboration
• Should have a proven track record of influencing others and be able to work with minimal guidance
• ITIL Foundation certificate is an advantage
• Experience with Network protocols and Design/Analysis
• Working knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc
• Project management skills are an advantage
• Experience in an international environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of HP processes is an advantage

Specific skills:
• Min. 5 years of server security expertise
• Min. 3 years of storage security experience
• Min. 3 years of security policies experience
• Min. 1 year of identity management expertise
• Min. 1 year of application security expertise
