EG Global Supply Chain Overview
The Enterprise Group (EG) supply Chain organization, as part of HP, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HP owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HP Converged Infrastructure.
Main Tasks are:
Manage future supply commits from vendors, to ensure they cover forecast and buffers.
Ensure daily-weekly monitoring of supply, raise alerts when inventory falls below agreed buffer levels and work replenishment actions.
Manage supply commits via MSL process, ensuring real time updates.
Ensure accuracy of future supply signals in SNC/SAP.
Demonstrate ongoing commitment to supply chain transformation programs and process improvement initiatives.
Escalate potential revenue impact of any shortfall in supply to Regional planning and GBU.

• Typically 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Procurement or relevant material planning experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate and influence others (HP internal & external).
• Fluency in English and local language.
• Self motivator, able to perform with little supervision within a virtual team environment.
• Extended analytical skills (MS Excel).
• Knowledge of SAP Fusion Program management and/or process improvement skills are preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of MRP applications preferred.
• First level university degree or equivalent experience.
