Solution Consultant

The AsM Solution Consultant is the designer and coordinator of Asset Management solutions, functionalities and tools. He is responsible to develop and tailor efficient and effective solution designs in the areas of databases and applications to meet the Asset Management needs of HP customers and accounts. He acts as a SPOC for his respective area of influence and interfaces delivery managers, account managers, customers and the delivery teams.

The key areas of responsibility are:
• Define high level requirements for new solutions and functionalities.
• Create solution level architecture design for various elements of new Asset Management functionalities, including:
- Database
- Application
- Web
• Understand and consider security requirements of HP and HP customers in the design of new functionalities and tools.
• Design and develop major elements of new functionalities and tools.
• Interface the team and the sponsors and incorporate their input in design of new functionalities and tools.
• Design new solutions in accordance with current trends in the IT industry and strive to improve existing functionalities up to the same standard.
• Be the SPOC for all designed solutions providing all necessary collateral as well as basic training for newcomers and support personnel.
• Lead small teams of developers when developing complex new tools, applications or solutions.
• Use current and relevant frameworks and methodologies to achieve set goals.
