EG Global Supply Chain Overview
The Enterprise Group (EG) supply Chain organization, as part of HP, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HP owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HP Converged Infrastructure.
Global Supply Chain organization supports the HP business by delivering products and services to customer expectation, allowing HP to attain revenue and profit targets. Within this dynamic global environment Planning is there to ensure demand is accurately forecast and product supply is positioned to ensure material availability in support of customer orders to the agreed service levels.
Scope of activities
• Responsible for accurate tracking and reporting of inventory to drive supply chain strategy
• Partner with Finance/Accounting to ensure financial inventory reporting is in alignment with physical inventory
• Partners with site procurement and supply planning to develop and implement of inventory goals
• Develop and implement inventory optimization analysis to drive more efficient use of company assets while maintaining high fill rates
• Responsible for initiating, developing, and implementing specific inventory plans and processes in support of company, site or entity strategies
• Builds cross functional consensus for inventory optimization plans
• Establishes Supply Chain based performance measurement systems and develops risk management plans to assure continuity of supply
• Performs work assigned by others
• Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks
• Accountable for own work

• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Demonstrated skills in continuous improvement initiatives, proven record for driving change

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English
