Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Role plays as key enabler to satisfy our customers of HP Helion Managed Cloud Service, will be deeply engaged in the ongoing Production Support activities for Virtual Private Could Service, as escalated queue manager, tracking/handling Incident tickets with fast resolution, driving trouble-shooting and resolution for production issues and problems, engage other engineers from global teams as need.
• Provides technical support for Helion -Managed VPC(Virtual Private Cloud) Production and Lab environments across global.
• Cover EMEA hours for Production Support worldwide, major linkage between APJ and AMS teams.
• Fast resolve/troubleshooting provision errors.
• Work closely with delivery/operation teams, Service Architects, Chief Engineers or other Services Engineers, Deployment Engineers on technical topics, process topics or issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Provides technical support for Helion -Managed VPC(Virtual Private Cloud) Production and Lab environments across global.

Education and Experience Required:
• 5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total).
• At least 3 years of experience in an IT Services environment with a broad set of technologies and products like system/network administration, operations management, Web services, data center setup.
• Experience in service delivery, product/service support.
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a global team, with fluent English.
Knowledge and Skills Nice to Have:
• ITIL Certified.
• Experienced in Incident Process Management.
• Knowledgeable in Cloud Service, Service Engineering.
• Knowledgeable in any ticketing system like HP Service Manager.
• Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings to drive issues/problem resolved/fixed in timely manner.
• Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
