Your role

  • Responsible for the full support of the global Packaging material sourcing that is focused on complexity reduction of the Henkel supplier base
  • Preparation and setting up of electronic tenders within Henkel eSourcing tool
  • Daily communication and support of the local purchasers in tender-related topics, acting as a link between them and preferred distributers
  • Communication and co-ordination with selected distributers to make sure that offers are placed on time and in accordance with predefined requirements, assuring smooth implementation in the plant
  • Participation in and delivery of regular training sessions on tools and processes
  • Ensuring correct maintenance of supplier and material master data in internal systems and tools
  • Collection and completion of packaging material specification sheets
  • Regular reporting of global, regional and country KPI’s

Your skills

  • University education in a related field (i.e. Management, Business Administration, Purchasing)
  • Fluent in English language (verbal and written) is required, German language is an advantage
  • 1-2 years of previous administration experience gained either in purchasing or a customer service environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Communication skills and a high customer service orientation
  • Accurate, self-organized person with attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking, interest to work with data
  • Flexible, driven person with pro-active approach
  • Ability to develop new processes, global way of thinking
