Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Your role

  • Execute sourcing events, negotiations and contracts with new or existing suppliers with focus on Sea & Air/Customs brokerage/Express in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category, in a compliant and efficient manner
  • Challenge and enrich of the Categories' objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
  • Identify and implement best business partnerships in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Align and cooperate with Supply Chain, contributing towards overall operational excellence
  • Use eSourcing tools as well as our transport management system to prepare and run sourcing events
  • Leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new commercial opportunities
  • Contribute to Henkel's success through knowledge of relevant market industry, providing internal guidance and market insights to company/Henkel

Your skills

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of Logistics, Indirect Materials & Services or Direct Materials for a global company
  • Logistics / Supply Chain knowledge are considered an advantage
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain
  • Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
  • An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
  • Project management knowledge and team player attitude
  • Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
  • Working proficiency in English is mandatory, other languages are an advantage
