Your role

  • Analyzing and proposing improvements in the forecasting algorithms and the optimum parameters definition process in coordination with the analytics continuous improvement expert and the forecast analytics
  • Validating & discussing the modelling outputs with the supply chain demand planners in Europe
  • Leading collaboration and communication with the demand planners in Henkel’s specific business unit (e.g. industrial, consumers, automotive ...)
  • Performing root cause/events data issues analysis for poor forecast accuracy
  • Direct review of the top products clusters in the monthly, quarterly and continuous improvement activities
  • Coaching and coordinating junior analysts ensuring the execution of tasks and ensuring his/her development and contributions
  • Contributing to build up the analytics center in the SSC Bratislava, delivering the top quality results for the European market demand planning specialists
  • Cooperation with regional management from supply chain area

Your skills

  • University degree in relevant field (Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Technical)
  • 3-4 years of experience in predictive analytics in the SCP environment (demand planning, supply planning, purchasing), or from other sectors
  • Knowledge of APO or other statistical packages (SAS, R will be an advantage)
  • Expert MS office knowledge
  • Proven capacity to lead other junior colleagues
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills
  • Excellent level of English (written & spoken)
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines and multitask daily activities
  • Motivated team player, willing to learn & continuously work on increasing the expertise in the area of statistical forecasting and mathematical modelling
