Part-time Operational and Reporting Controller (m/f)

Located within the Shared Service Centre Bratislava, the Operational and Reporting Controller will carry out and support the performance of day to day Controlling operational activities. Working in close cooperation with local and regional controllers, dealing with various topics, communicating with all areas of the company, from Source to Pay to Production. On one side the team is providing the monthly calculation and analysis of product costs and identifying where and why we have purchase price/production variances to our calculated prices. On the other hand we are preparing the internal Profit and Loss statements/Balance Sheet and performing the Operational controlling tasks in the areas of Cost Center Accounting as well as Profitability analysis. Finally the team is preparing and delivering on time financial reporting, tracking business results to all counterpart: from controller community, to top management. What we offer

  • Internal Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet preparation and reconciliation of month end closing reporting for all WEU and CEE region
  • Periodical Product Cost calculation for all purchased and produced materials
  • Product costs variance checks, analysis and providing solutions to the business
  • Cost Center accounting module maintenance and analysis
  • Profitability module maintenance, checks and analysis
  • Profit Center Accounting set up, basic checks and analysis
  • Supporting local business controllers with ad hoc analyses
  • Responsibility for the preparation of standardized reports for the different Henkel Business Units, focusing on (non-exhaustive): Financial Key figures, Business results, Customer/Product marginality analysis etc
  • You will be responsible for the quality of the data as well as the on time delivery of the reports which is mandatory for providing timely and reliable information


Who we are looking for

  • University student - preferably Economics, with majors in Controlling/Finance/Accounting or similar
  • Upper Intermediate English and excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, other MS Office tools
  • Excellent analytical skills and solution oriented mind
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Reliability, drive and determination to succeed
