Your role
- Supporting the build up and operational lead of the team in own area of responsibility
- Coordinating the daily tasks in the SSC team regarding transport planning execution and also further country roll-out
- Acting as an important contact for European managers of Henkel business units (implementation of KPIs, performance review, cooperation steering, conflict management, efficiency projects )
- Being the main point of contact for escalations and issue handling on the operational level
- Contributing to the strategic direction for continuous improvement of SSC Transport Planning Team
- Cooperating with other business and functional departments (purchasing, finance, customer service, master data, etc.)
- Great career opportunity and active participation in a unique project and it´s build up
Your skills
- Higher education or University degree with relevant background
- Min. 3 years of experience in the area of transport planning, logistics, project management or IT
- Very good leadership skills (able not only to manage but also inspire and guide the team members)
- Good project management skills (able to set the milestones, keep the deadlines, and coordinate others in the project)
- Excellent level of English language (written & spoken)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- General technical understanding; experience with any TMS tool or SAP is an advantage
- Reliable, communicative, positive and stress resistant person
- Motivated team player, willing to learn & continuously work on increasing the expertise in the area of transport planning
