Your role

  • Build up and operational lead of Shared Services Center Transport Planning Team (30 members at final stage)
  • Structuring the interface to Henkel business units / European countries: performance review, cooperation steering, conflict management, efficiency reporting
  • Escalations and issue resolution for operational exceptions handling
  • Setting of strategic direction for continuous improvement of SSC Transport Planning Team
  • Financial Management and consulting support of the operational transport responsibilities
  • Managing and active implementation of the TMS-rollout in Europe
  • Cooperation with other business and functional departments (purchasing, finance, customer service, master data,…)
  • Great career opportunity and active participation at unique project

Your skills

  • Higher education, or University degree with relevant background
  • min. 3 years of experience in area of transport planning, logistics, project management, or IT
  • Active level of English (written & spoken)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with any TMS tool as an advantage
  • Reliable, communicative, positive, quick learner, able to plan and keep the deadlines
  • Motivated team player, willing to learn & continuously work on increasing the expertise in the area of transport planning, able to organise others
  • Flexible for travelling
