Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Optimizing logistics processes
- Preparing generally valid methods, rules and tools for the optimization of planning processes and control as well as for the improvement of key performance indicators in agreement with the superior responsible
- Documentation of business processes for the purpose of securing and transferring know-how from the point of view of users and processes
- Drawing up training concepts and documents as well as preparing and carrying out qualification measures
- Checking logistic parameters such as lead times, stock levels, delivery service etc. and the logistic parameters e.g. planning rules, planning methods through evaluation
- Carrying out logistics projects, preparing respective specialist concepts as well as ensuring their implementation according to time and cost specifications
- Preparing and further developing concepts for improving the recording, analysis, modeling, presentation and management of process-related data
- Preparing forecasts for periods, milestones and budgets for successful project implementation according to the targets set with superiors
- Documenting current existing IT applications and describing the target processes as well as their effects on functions
