Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our client, we are looking for an experienced Mid software developer with an exceptional command over C#/.NET and cloud technologies like azure. As a pivotal member of the engineering cohort, the person will be entrusted with the task of architecting, developing, and maintaining the middleware of a robust e-commerce solution. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to harness innovative technologies and spearhead e-commerce platform's evolution.
Key Accountabilities:
• Backend software development with C# and .NET. / .NET Core frameworks.
• Work on projects both as an architect and as a coder.
• Microservices architecture and event driven design and API-First solutions
• DevOps like CI/CD, automated testing, configuration of logging and monitoring systems, infrastructure management etc.
• Working with cloud technologies, ideally with MS Azure and have a strong understanding of ServiceBus, EventGrid, Azure Functions, WebApps, AppInsight, Blob storage, MessageBus, Message queue and related components.
• Working in agile environments and familiarity with DevOps processes & scrum.
• Debug but also creates robust applications.
• Automation, build, optimize, and test deployment strategies.
• Follow coding principles like YAGNI, KISS, SOLID, DRY & advocate for high coding standards.
• Thinking ahead of many years to build a scalable & maintainable system.

• Proficiency in backend technologies (e.g. C#/ASP.NET Core), .NET 6 Web APIs (AAD authentication, EF Core, Swagger, ORM Frameworks) is a plus.
• skills in Database Technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB.
• Adeptness in thriving within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiar with agile methodologies & scrum processes
• Team player with profound sense of responsibility, ownership & love to mentor other engineers.
