For a very well known Fashion retailer - based in Vienna - we are looking for an Area Manager Retail for the territory of Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Our client is looking for an exceptional person to support and develop its retail division in Czech Republic and Slovakia. The purpose of the role will be to manage and assume overall responsibility for openings and future success of all retail stores within Czech Republic and Slovakia, by providing effective and inspirational leadership to the Store Managers and their teams, supporting and enabling them to reach stretching sales, profitability and operational goals.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Sales Generation - Hire and develop a team who strive to meet and exceed sales goals using new and innovative ways to increase business sales. Train the team to develop sales and service techniques to ensure peak performance.
• Customer Service - Lead the team to ensure all associates provide the highest level of customer service.
• Operations - Maintain a systematic auditing program to ensure full location compliance in all areas. Control store expenses and maintain budgets, continually striving to reduce costs whilst schedulig to ensure staffing is optimized to drive business and meet demands of peak traffic. Manage the processes and deliver the highest of standards for all store operations including: deliveries, inventories, Shipping/Receiving, cash register usage, loss prevention and security.
• Visual Merchandising/ Windows - Implement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure the execution of effective merchandising strategies whilst delivering exceptional visual presentation and standards. Partner with logistics, product teams and supervisor to ensure appropriate assortment for the store.
• Human Resources - Recruit, train, develop and performance manage staff ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified personnel who meet the companies DNA. Conduct regional succession planning to continuingly assess and develop talent to support the organisational evolution. Resolve all human resources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when necessary.

Ihr Profil:

Your profile:

• Preferably you will be based in Czech Republic or Slovakia.
• You will have at least 3 years of experience as an Retail Area or Retail District Manager for a fashion or accessories brand.
• You will be familiar with the Czech Republic Market and Retail Industry - having worked in the marked previously.
• You will be a people focused Manager who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and retail standards.
• Fluent in Czech and English (spoken and written) is a must; German would be an advantage.
