SQL Developer

Maintenance and development of internal software systems with emphasis on backend SQL development.
Design and integration of additional features and service optimisations for all systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop database back-ends based on MS SQL server, Microsoft Analysis and Reporting Services.
Develop, extend and maintain existing ASP.NET sites and C# applications.
Assist in ongoing operations and problem resolution in a high volume environment

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

At least 3 years of strong experience working with Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008/2012 and T-SQL/stored procedures development.
Good experience with developing Integration Services (SSIS) Packages.
Good experience with Analysis Services (SSAS) cube development with MDX.
C# - General familiarity to extend console applications and some SSIS functionality.
Database operations and performance tuning with high volume data loads.
Experience of working with Internet Information services (IIS)

Nice to have:
Experience with partitioned tables and indexes.
UNIX/Linux familiarity with some shell scripting.
Knowledge of ASP.NET for extending an operations dashboard.
Experience of a Very Large Database (VLDB) environment. Some fact tables are in the billion rows/month area; expected to double over the next year.
