Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client, a leading automotive supplier, we are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Senior Buyer. He/she will be responsible for in time achieving of all objectives related to purchasing. Senior Buyer will be expected to provide proficient service in the business, will manage suppliers (including contract negotiations, payment queries, change management, request for quotes etc.) provide support in purchasing activity in their geographical location.

We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience, with at least 5 years in purchasing, ideally from automotive sector who is eager to do the next step in their career by becoming a part of a prestigious company. He/she should be required to quickly develop their knowledge of own sub commodity and local market and its conditions. We are looking for a team player with high focus on goals and customer approach. SAP knowledge required. Candidates with proactive, flexible approach are welcome.
