Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team based in Bratislava.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• DB architecture (infra and SW components) design
• DB structures sizing and planning
• Installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools
• Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
• Deploying DB solutions:
• Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
• Planning for backup and recovery of database information
• Maintaining archived data
• Backing up and restoring the database
Your main responsibilities will be:
• DB architecture (infra and SW components) design
• DB structures sizing and planning
• Installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools
• Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
• Deploying DB solutions:
- Creating primary database storage structures (tablespaces)
- Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes)
- Modifying the database structure, as necessary
- Enrolling users and maintaining system security
• Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
• Planning for backup and recovery of database information
• Maintaining archived data
• Backing up and restoring the database
