Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for talented and experienced Oracle DB Admin with solid Linux knowledge who will be responsible for:
- Administration and maintenance of Oracle databases (new installations, database upgrades, tablespace/users maintenance)
- Backup/restore of Oracle databases using RMAN/BRTOOLS (SAP)
- Database cloning from backup, exports/imports of Oracle DB objects
- Applying/installing standard Oracle CPU/SBP patches
- DB monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manger
- Writing scripts (bash/ksh) on Unix environment
- Maintenance of sftp interfaces
-Supporting application teams
-Administration and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Middleware (Forms, Reports, Discoverer)
- Deployments of application packages (Oracle/non-Oracle)
- Administration and maintenance of MSSQL databases (backups, restores, maintenance plans)
- Documentation maintenance

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

UNIX/Linux - Advanced
Oracle Database - Advanced
Oracle Database administration - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

- Advanced experience with working in Unix environment (AIX, RHEL)
- Advanced experience with Oracle DB/Oracle OEM administration
- Experience with MSSQL administration
- Basic knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware (Forms, Reports, Discoverer)
- Oracle scripting (PLSQL)
- Unix scripting (bash/ksh)
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools and ticketing systems
