Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for talented and motivated system administrator with solid Linux knowledge.
Your responsibilities will be:
• monitoring and control of ABS JobNet environment (testing, checking and correction of errors, escalation to 3rd support, development),
• file/scripts maintenance on Linux environment,
• collecting and interpreting indicators of ABS operation to avoid performance or resource coinsurance problems,
• implementing new ABS programs/batch jobs/JCL scripts,
• upgrading/cloning of ABS JobNet,
• restoring datasets from backup,
• processing of pre-implemented workflows for standard requirements of the department,
• creating schedules in coordination with business requirements and development in the light of available resource and parallel activities,
• documentation maintenance.
