Job description, responsibilities and duties
Position Summary:
The Reporting Analyst plays a key role in providing the Client as well as internal teams with vital business information reports and recommendations based upon diverse data sources.
The position will play a key role in the service level report preparation and will analyze service performance against SLA, working with the various subject matter experts in the organization.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day Lifecycle delivery of Client performance results and SLAs in support of Managed Services
• Collect, assemble, evaluate and validate of service level data leveraging a large number of in- and external data sources.
• Produce routine and ad-hoc reports to internal and external Client at a variety of managerial levels
• Act as liaison with internal teams to support industry leader in Network performance and Network reliability. This includes:
o Delivery of results and other collateral to client including publication to designated client web portals.
o Research and Analysis to of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare/deliver findings in support of internal process or system enhancements needed to support client deliverables.
• To provide both proactive and reactive analysis & performance improvement (Back to Green) plans
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and work with SME’s and management leaders in case of underperformance
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve and measure operational objectives
• Ensure consistency and audit ability of all supporting data and ensure upload of supporting data to Client service level data repositories
• Document all reporting processes and workflows
• Key Deliverables include Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reports, and other reports, as assigned
• Continually reviews and suggests improvement to the Service Level Management processes, policies, and vision and explores new and emerging ways of working

Personality requirements and skills
Accreditation, Certification, or Licenses:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Math or Statistics. While specified degreed education is desirable, relevant industry training and work experience is the most important
• 3 years experience in data gathering and reporting is required
• Preferred: Six Sigma
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation
Training and Special Skills:
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities
• MS Office Suite, in particular MS Excel skills; including pivot tables, macros, and data tools
• Knowledge and experience with tools:
o AOTS
o Business Objects
o GPS
o Webslm
o InfoVista
• Strong Verbal and writing skills in use of English Language Ability to quantify, analyze, document, and report on SLA compliance of Client
• Technical Writing Ability to define necessary processes / procedures / work instructions to obtain and manipulate the data in support of the SLA compliance reporting
• Ability to work across various staffing levels including operations staff through senior managers / customers
• Commitment to take ownership / responsibility for tasks assigned with limited direction required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities with limited supervision
• Displays initiative and innovation
• Ability to work under pressure with "challenging/dynamic timescales"
• Ability to work virtually across global cultures and time zones
• Ability to quickly analyze feasibility of requests
• Understands relevance in relation to larger business/project/department goals
