Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for day to day accounting operations maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions,
- Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards,
- Preparing the closing of individual as well as consolidated accounts (monthly/yearly) in accordance with the applicable statutory legislation, the Group policy and IFRS ensuring completeness and accuracy of closing entries and whole consolidation process,
- Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures,
- Develops and maintains internal controls and effective accounting system and policies,
- Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures,
- Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries,
- Communicates with third parties (Tax Office, professional advisors, etc),
- Supervises accounting team.

Personality requirements and skills
- Experience of minimum 3-5 years in senior accounting position, ideally in an international working environment,
- Strong leadership and team management skills with proven record of involvement in establishing accounting processes,
- Full / part qualified ACCA of advantage,
- knowledge in Navision and/or Dynamics AX or other main account SW is of advantage,
- excellent knowledge in Excel and other MS Office applications,
- FMCG or e-commerce/retail experiences would be an add-on.
Further, the ideal candidate is:
- autonomous, independent and structured,
- highly motivated and able to handle stress,
- flexible and willing to work in a very changing and challenging environment,
- communicative and international oriented.
