Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• 1st level user support:
o Solving IT problems related to hardware and software
o 8x5 hotline support for all departments in Bratislava and subsidiaries in other countries
o 1st level application support
• Software and hardware installations:
o Installation of internal company applications like MS Windows & Office, Antivirus, special internal tools, etc
o Installation of new computers, printers and similar devices
o Installation and upgrade of computer network
o Managing computer and printer repairs primarily with external hardware service centers
• Basic servers administration:
o Servers’ disk space administration
o Checking of backups, changing and safekeeping of backup media
• Creating and managing Active Directory users within our client’s computer domain
• Allocating network resources to users and assigning corresponding access permissions on those resources, managing applications permissions
