Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

- Provide Advanced Manufacturing deliverables on equipment for automotive interiors (eg PUR-foaming, Vacuum- & press lamination, Welding, Injection molding)
- Delivery in time of
o Manufacturing feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products
o Process layout for new products and plant launches
o Process specification, considering technological & ergonomic improvements, meeting strategic requirements and program assumptions
o Specifications for manufacturing equipment & sourcing recommendation
o Equipment build tracking and installation
o Process run-off and capability verification
- Provide cost analysis of product and process alternatives
- Monitor and audit manufacturing best practices and standards in the plant
- Standardize and implement manufacturing tool box
- Support Operations in daily business challenges

- Technician or Degree in Engineering (mechanical or industrial)
- Min 3 years of experience in launch and production of automotive interior components
or other high volume industries with comparable technologies
- Experienced in definition and set-up of at least one core technology
- Ability to phrase technical context in required language & at required level
- Well-founded knowledge on automatization
- Analytical as well as hands-on approach
- English or German language
- Willingness to travel
