Accountant Accounts Payable

The Accountant for Accounts Payable ensures timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all Accounts Payable transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.

Main responsibilities include:
- Support the day to day Accounts Payable operations
- Process invoices until the release of payment
- Handle internal and external communication
- Vendor account maintenance and closing activities
- Understand service level agreements and key performance indicators for Accounts Payable related processes
- Contribute to the continuous maintenance and the update of Accounts Payable process activities and procedures
- Support team members to achieve performance and quality standards

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- Degree in Economics, preferably major in accounting
- 2-3 years of experience in the area of Accounting
- Some experience in Accounts Payable processes
- Work experience with SAP and typical other IT-tools as a plus
- Communicative level of English and German
