Medical officer (with english + german or french)

You will work with a regional EMEA team of medical doctors to provide input into individual risk assessment, claims cases, general risk management, as well as underwriting strategy and parameters, and life and health R&D. There will initially be a training period if new to life insurance and insurance medicine.
You will report to the Global Chief Medical Officer, thus supporting the global medical team of reputable doctors will also be part of the role.
Industry presentations and client training may also occur as experience in the role grows. Supporting the global medical team will be part of the role as well.

Team consists of regional and global doctors in various markets working for a global reinsurer.

- Recognized medical doctor (with a degree in medicine from a recognized institution)
- Possible clinical or research background
- Specialization not necessary, but cardiology or oncology would be a plus
- Fluent in English + German/French (both written and spoken)
- Good presentation skills
- Insurance medicine experience and/or training is an advantage, as is working in the healthcare industry
- Good numeracy and statistical ability is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Europe is important
