Junior Asset Accountant

Duties and responsibilities:

- Record fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers and master record changes in the accounting system (tangible and intangible)
- Assign investment-profile (CAPEX/OPEX), accounts/asset classes and cost centers to projects and shopping carts
- Create master records for assets under construction and assets in use
- Track the compilation of project costs (assets under construction) into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed
- Assure tagging (tag numbers) of fixed assets
- Support periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets in clarifying differences between the technical register and the asset ledger and posting of the results

- 2+ years of accounting experience (IFRS and local GAAP know how eg. Hungarian, Polish, Slovak, Czech GAAP beneficial) , asset accounting experience highly preferred
- Solid accounting know-how, asset accounting know-how preferred
- Excellent English language skills and additional national language skills (Hungarian; Polish; Croatian, German, Greek, Romanian, Czech; Slovak etc.)
- Knowledge of accounting-software, SAP preferred
- Proficient in MS EXCEL
