Commissioning Engineer for international commissioning jobs

Babcock & Wilcox Vølund is one of the world’s most renowned companies within advanced and environmentally sound technologies for producing energy from waste and biomass.

BWV is a close-knit team of 15 dedicated and competent engineers and operators.
We have commissioned more than 500 waste-to-energy and biomass power plants worldwide.Our energy plants produce electricity and heat from waste products such as household waste.

As our commissioning engineer you will be working on building sites, primarily in Europe, where you will be involved in the commissioning phase of our projects. You will be part of a site crew of 4-7 people.
You will have a wide range of in-house and external contacts, and you must be prepared to travel for about 200-300 days a year, depending on our order portfolio.

Requirements:

- experience from commissioning jobs and good knowledge of boiler and combustion technology
- experienced IT user
- good knowledge of English, for both written and spoken communication, other European languages would be an advantage
- experience with ommissioning/operation of waste/biomass plants, large energy facilities, or similar work
- technical background
- good communication and cooperation skills
