Manager with knowledge of Hungary statutory accounting & direct taxes

Job scope:

- Responsible for country based finance teams including accounting and tax
- Contact for tax specialists and auditors
- Responsible for accounting and controlling of all non-operational legal entities
- Coordination of closing activities for all legal entity on legal entity/country level
- Preparation of statutory audit reports, coordinates signing process and files to public authorities;
- Ensure tax compliance, preparation of CIT, VAT and other local indirect taxation declarations
- Perform special projects that identify and analyze specific problem areas
- Supervise employees in the regional CFS teams (interviewing, hiring, training, KPI monitoring and set up, planning, assigning, and directing work)

Qualifications:

- Degree in controlling and accounting
- At least 6 years accounting experience focus on processes and proven leadership expertise
- English on fluent level (verbal and written form)
- Knowledge of local GAAP and international GAAP, U.S. GAAP is an advantage
- Local income tax and VAT knowledge is necessary
- Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis and cost accounting
- ERP systems knowledge (including SAP R/3 and Oracle)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
- Openness to traveling
