IT system administrator - storage

This is an exciting opportunity to join & build new team of experts focusing on Storage for our great client who operates globally in field of automotive.

On position IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - STORAGE you will be responsible for:

- Providing support and guidance to Storage environment
- Administrating the configuration of physical and virtual Storage Platform and services for all enterprise data centers
- Recognizing and responding to customer expectations
- Supporting and reviewing Disaster Recovery plans, procedures and test scenarios and participates in regular DR rehearsals
- Applying security policies to the Storage Platform
- Cooperating with people of different levels inside / outside the company and to interact with teams to reach goals and business objectives
- Providing level II incident and problem management
- Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting system availability within Operating Level Agreements
- Monitoring system resource utilization and supports capacity planning by capturing data, analyzing trends and making upgrade recommendations
- Participating in planning and execution of server workload migrations
- Interfacing and coordinating with business, application support
- Maintaining knowledge of the latest developments impacting the Storage Platform environment
- Providing effective technical documentation to clearly communicate procedures

- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems
- 3 - 6 years of Storage/Backup Platform experience
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people of different skills, backgrounds, departments and management levels
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in speaking English
- Strong analytical skills are required to understand, diagnose and resolve technical situations to provide and maintain 24 by 7 data center services
- Experience with EMC Symmetrix, VNX, VNC, Celerra and IBM SVC storage solutions, Asynchronous data replication and storage virtualization, Storage replication (SRDF, SVC) and SNMP trap monitoring is strongly desired.
