G/L accounting (participation on projects)

We are searching for experienced accountant on the position GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST with English.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Daily accounting activities in General Ledger
- Ensure accounting standards in compliance with US GAAP and local standards
- General ledger journals preparation and reconciliation of G/L accounts
- Regular reporting and statistics
- Monthly closing activities (month-end, quarterly and yearly)
- Accruals and referrals calculation and posting
- Participation on internal and external audits
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis

The suitable candidate should have:

- University degree in Economics / Finance/ Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in accounting (G/L, intercompany, AP+AR)
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Proficient with EXCEL (pivot tables, vlookup, hlookup)
- Advanced user of SAP and US GAAP principles is a plus
- Proactive approach to work
- Good understanding of the accounting principles in compliance
