Network Design Engineer

A major and fast expanding IT company, operating internationally, is opening new positions here in Bratislava. We are looking for skilled Network Design Engineer.

You will be responsible for:

- design and technical guidance/consultancy in multiple network projects
- providing technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed architectural standard
- client/account interactions as required
- make sure that the project deliverable is completed accurately and on time
- escalating the issues, problems, risks and constraints to the appropriate parties for clarification and resolution
- design and Engineering of custom Infrastructure solutions based on various network products and services
- communication with the Chief Engineer, Client Capability Lead and account/client

- 5+ years of professional experience
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience
- Relevant work experience with : CISCO 6500, 4500, 3700 and 3800. HPN 12000, 5820, 5900’s, Fortigate/Forti-analyzer 400, 1000, 60B, 80C. F5 BIG IP 1600-8900.
- Familiar with CISCO/HPN/Fortinet/F5 configuration scripts
- Understanding of broad spectrum of HP technology in order to meet customer requirements
- Network Equipment Setup, Refresh and Migrations experience (properly coordinate equipment stand up and coordinate migrations.)
- Multiple years of experience engineering and supporting enterprise network solutions
- Leading the development and delivery of specific project work packages including the
- Will be able to diagnose network installations issues.
- Must be able to produce accurate and detailed information for network installations.
