Accountant - Closing & Reporting (financial services)

The Accountant will be responsible for complex accounting activities in insurance area and will cover the process of closing according to US GAAP standards. He will also participate on Statutory closing and reporting activities for this area on monthly basis.

Core responsibilities include:
- Journal entries relating to the month end close cycle
- Reconciliation and analysis of accounts and follow up of outstanding items
- Be the contact for external and internal auditors as well as team of planning, actuarial functions as well as global finance team
- Participate on reporting and its complience with agreed GAAP and statutory GAAP
- Assist in the analysis and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement schedules
- Maintains and controls worksheets, reports, ledgers, postings and other data

The required is:
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years in accounting department
- Experience in field of financial services is big advantage
- Strong motivation to deepen the knowledge of insurance sector
- Ability to organize, self-prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent level of English language
