General ledger accountant

If you have experience in complex/partial accounting and you want to become General Ledger Accountant, this is the right opportunity for you.

Your main duties will include:

- To perform a variety of difficult and complex journey level professional accounting duties related to monitoring financial transactions
- Reviewing fiscal records, and preparing financial reports related to the general ledger
- Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
- Quarterly balance sheet and P & L - Fluctuation Analysis
- Monthly expense variance analysis
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) and compliance to internal policies
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Assist with process and procedure documentation
- Interface with management in various departments, including sales operations and IT
- Every-day work on continuous improvements of the department processes

The candidate should meet the following criteria:

- Master degree in finance
- Fluency in English language
- German language will be a plus
- Minimum of 2 year experience in accounting in international company
- Could be complex or partial accounting experience with at least some of following areas: AP, AR, Fixed Assets, GL, Payroll
- IFRS knowledge
- Shared service center experience is advantageous
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Adaptability for dynamic, fast - changing environment
- Sense for details
- Strong communication skills
