Statutory specialist

We are looking for an experienced complex accountant with English to our client - an international company which deals with providing of financial services.

Your main duties will be:

- Responsible for end-to-end accounting process of related entities in compliance with the statutory principles (local GAAP, US GAAP)
- Regular reporting according to the accounting principles (management reporting)
- General Ledger booking and accounts reconciliation
- Balance sheet monitoring and managing, statutory closing
- Preparation documentation for external auditors and annually cooperation on audit
- Quarterly finance analysis and reporting of results to CFO´s and shareholders
- Communication with all departments within a company
- Ad hoc activities as required

The suitable candidate meet the minimum criteria:

- University degree in Accounting or Audit
- Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in a relevant finance position (statutory accounting, reporting, audit)
- Fluent level of English (communication in English on daily basis)
- German language is an advantage
- Knowledge of Slovak GAAP, US GAAP/ GERMAN GAAP/ IFRS principles
- ACCA or CFA qualification is an advantage
- Fast adaptability to changes
- Target oriented kind of person
