Application manager

A major and fast expanding international company, operating all over world, is opening new positions here in Bratislava. We are looking for IT Application Manager who will be responsible for:

- Development lifecycle phases
- Facilitate the business requirements gathering sessions
- Assure the information is captured/documented as Change Request out from the business requirements gathering sessions.
- Analyze business requirements
- Support Testing Team in transforming the business requirements into test cases
- Quality assurance of all vendor deliverables – from solution design, technical design, technical delivery till the solution and operations documentation

- A Bachelor/Master degree in an economic or IT related field
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a Java developer or SAP(ABAP) developer
- Experience/background of technical design and implementation of a client server application (frontend and backend functionality) incl. database design
- Understanding of financial markets and products
- Motivated and eager to broaden the know-ledge within the IT Operations domain
- Strong communication skills - Fluent in English (minimum B2/C1)
- Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, prioritising, and delegating packages of work. Certification (eg PMP) an advantage
- Good understanding of ITIL framework (certification an advantage)
