Accounting specialist

Our client, operating in production area is looking for qualified candidates on the position of ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST.

You will be fully responsible for:

- Complex accounting according to IFRS standards for chosen countries - mostly according to Slovak law
- Analyzing discrepancies and providing reconciliations of accounts
- Preparing financial statements (balance sheet, profit & lost statement, cash flow)
- Cooperating on month – end closing activities
- Preparing tax calculations and tax returns
- Communicating with tax authorities and banks
- Ensuring correctness and complexity of bookkeeping
- Ensuring compliance with company standards and laws
- Creating financial reports for managers
- Supporting internal and external auditors
- Analyzing of financial risk which can influence growth of company
- Cooperating with internal departments

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- High school or university degree in economics
- Min. 2 years experience as an complex accountant
- Strong background in accounting (double – entry bookkeeping, knowledge of tax legislation)
- English on high level is advantage
- Strong experience with SAP
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Advanced level of MS Excel
- Good communicational skills
- Team player and self – reliable person
