Java developer (gwt)

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company.

- Design, develop and deliver GUI adaptations
- Design new screens based on business requirements and specifications
- Support application and operational performance improvements and enhancements
- Translate business requirements into system production solution design and patterns, which enables quality,re-usability, scalability availability and maintainability in accordance with the overall Business Strategy and IT standards
- Collaborate with other teams in defining functionality, scope and time lines
- Act as development consultant to operational team, assisting them in choosing the most appropriate technical solution for their applications and/or production issues
- Support development defect resolution and/or operational/production incident and problem solutions
- Implement long term operational requirements, design solutions and operational efficiency

The candidate should have:

- Experience with Java Development (3 – 6 years)
- Hands-on experience with Google Web toolkit and/or other similar GUI framework
- Experienced in Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), asynchronous executions
- Experience working with Hibernate/Java Persistence API (JPA); Websphere; Maven; Hazelcast
- Strong database and modeling background, with experience in addressing performance issues in large databases
- Well-experienced in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile SCRUM methodologies
