Project Leader SAP – Enterprise master data

Leads an international SAP roll-out project in enterprise master data area and ensures that project scope is clearly defined, that budget and timelines are established for the given scope and that the rollout is delivered in time, budget and quality
- Responsible for translation of business needs into system and process solutions through identification, harmonization and prioritization of the requirements as well as through preparation of the functional designs for the enterprise master data area consisting via the SAP MDGx, MDM and ERP.
- Provides support in the business case definition by supplying information concerning requirements in terms of complexity, estimated costs and risk of implementation
- Creates and manages project plan, deliverables, dependencies, risks and mitigation plans
- Builds and manages relationship with business side, advises in domain related issues
- Manages the day-to-day project activities including scope, conflicting priorities, issue escalations, status reporting, and meeting facilitations
- Influence on standardization of requirements in dedicated areas, ensures consistency of proposed solutions with one core model, communicates and stresses the benefits of standardization
- Leads discussion between different regions and markets as well as within the IT and cross company (eg. infrastructure, security officers) in his respective area of responsibility

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

Experienced in SAP ERP Customizing, MDGx and MDM with ability of designing solutions, overall knowledge in SAP FI, Proc and LO is a big plus
-2+ years of hands-on SAP FI functional experience in functional/project lead role positions
- Demonstrated experience with SAP implementation for the FI area through all phases (assessment/planning, requirements & fit-gap analysis, business process design, building, testing, cut-over and post go-live support)
- Strong understanding of the business needs and processes.
- Understanding of complete processes (beyond direct area of expertise) and multi-layer dependencies
- Good team player with strong project management skills and with proven skills in collaboration in non-hierarchical, international and cross-functional teams
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Highly self-assured, self-motivated as well as motivator, goal and delivery oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong at technical & functional analysis with attention to detail
- Fluent written and spoken English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
- High level of travel
