BI Data mining specialist/analyst

Your duties/job description:
- Generate standard or custom reports, summarize business or economic data for review by execu-tives, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Be responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data.
- Proactively continuously improve the information provided to management, ensuring that there is enough context in each “report” or document sent to senior management.
- Be responsible for accurate and efficient reporting and analysis of many layers of data.
- High impact in decision-making, providing qualitative and quantitative information to senior management and the rest of the organization in the form of dashboards, reports, and ad hoc presenta-tions.
- Key player in understanding every aspect of data relating to business.
- This role interfaces across all teams to answer challenging analytical questions.
- The position involves both technically and analytically rigorous work, including the use of MicroStrategy, Excel, and other data analysis technologies.

The candidate should have:

- 4+ years of full-time work experience.
- Knowledge of MicroStrategy or other big data platforms, Excel.
- Conceptual and practical understandings of relational and non-relational databases, join types, and group by clauses. Ability to query different types of data sets.
- Strong data mining, data science and/or modeling experience, focusing on data visualization and decision support functions.
- Strong business acumen and experience with excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills as well as the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to structure and solve difficult problems with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights to leadership teams.
- Fluency in English language.
