Product architect/consultant j2ee

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company.

You will:
- Work in product architecture team working on creating next generation payment processing products and supporting existing platforms
- Interface with clients, product teams and talk about the product architecture on a high level, but also be able to interface with the development, Implementation and Support teams on the code level
- Ensure adherence to established standards
- Consult with senior managers on technology solutions
- Support existing business systems applications and be responsible for leading technical aspects of a project
- Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables
- Works on highly complex projects and issues within functional technical area
- Work independently with IT functional units and business units
- Recommend strategies for technical aspects of projects as well as broad system improvements

The candidate should have:

- Developed applications using J2EE technologies for at least 5+ years and has expert level knowledge in developing enterprise applications
- Worked as an architect in J2EE technologies for at least 3+ years with deep knowledge in design patterns and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and exprienced in documenting designs using UML and use cases
- Strong understanding of: Web Site Security concepts, Session Management, performance tuning, real time data processing systems, customer self-service systems, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and Database technologies such as Oracle or DB2
- Experience with building web services-based integration with third parties
- Knowledge of MVC web application frameworks such as Stripes, Spring, Wicket
- Knowledge of persistence frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA, or other ORM framework
- Some level of familiarity with at least one of the mobile app development platforms using Objective-C, Xcode, Java, C++ is a plus
- Some level of familiarity in working payment processing applications is a strong plus
- Has experience and comfortable working in a Agile development environment and waterfall development environment
- Experience and comfort mentoring more junior staff and work with offshore vendors and distributed teams
