Accounting manager CEE (New SSC)

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company. Our client is looking for experienced ACCOUNTING MANAGER in his recently established SSC in Kosice.

Your duties will be:

- Manage the general ledger accounting team
- Leads the accounting activities for a specific country and partners with the business to ensure that the business needs are being met
- Ensure that company will meet all its internal and external reporting and control requirements
- Manage all balance sheet and income statement reporting process for CEE region
- Ensure correctness regional financial and management reports with the business and make appropriate adjustments as agreed with the business before submitting results for consolidation
- Responsible for the timely completion and follow up on all items for the balance sheet reconciliation activities
- Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities run correctly
- Coordinate with country to ensure that all revenue recognition activities occur within a timely manner
- Monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements

The core requirements:

- University or Master degree in finance/accounting/audit
- Preferred ACCA, CFA qualification
- Fluent level of English language
- 5 years of experience in accounting
- Experience in shared service center is must
- Leadership experience is must
- Very good overview in accounting processes
- Knowledge of internationally acknowledged accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP)
- Very good analytical skills
