Senior statutory reporting expert for Germany (German language is big advantage)

Our client, strong international institution is looking for experienced professionals to strenghten their newly built team. This team focuses on statutory and US GAAP reporting and ensuring correctness of end to end accounting process for German - speaking entity. This is very nice chance for experienced professionals with experience in financial audit or accounting to further develop their competence. The role is focused on transfer of new positions to Slovakia.

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Complex reporting activities for assigned area respecting the statutory and US GAAP requirements
- Execute month - end and quarter - end closing processes on General ledger level
- Ensure accounting of accruals, reserves during month end closing activities
- Perform month-end reconciliations between local and corporate accounting standards
- Preparation of relevant business commentaries
- Regular analysis of financial statements and reporting of necessary findings
- Reporting to stakeholders and CFOs
- Be the focal point to provide the information to external auditors
- Compliance with legislation framework and internal standards

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- Min. 7 years of experience in financial audit or statutory accounting
- Knowledge of US GAAP is must
- Knowledge of German GAAP
- Fluent level of English langauge language, German language is big advantage
- ACCA,CPA or other financial certification is advantage
- Deep business understanding
- Flexibilty
- Ability to attend trainings abroad
