Big data architect

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company.

- We are looking for a Solution architect for new data analytics platform (green field solution)
- Candidate should have strong skills in one of the three areas: Data Integration, Analytical Process Support, SAS, and proven ability to propose integrated solutions in related area
- Together with other experts create and drive a solution proposal for data analytics platform

Additionally, one or more of the following:
- Development of data integration and transformation configurations and possibly scripts based on enterprise data integration tooling
- Development and integration within SAS platform based on in-depth knowledge and expertise with the SAS environment / tools set
- Development of analytical workflows and data preparation in an experimental data analytics setup

The candidate should have:

- University education
- English - advanced or German - advanced
- PL/SQL - expert

One or more of the following:
- Experience with Data warehouse (preferred Teradata, SQL -MR )
- Hadoop usage (with Java) experience
- SAS programming
- Data analytics and testing experience

- The job will require traveling to Germany
